Rob “The Guv’nor of Groove” Crispe - Drums and Percussion
Rob joined The Iconics in January 2021 and brought with him the coolest of grooves and professionalism.
Rob has been astride a drum throne driving the groove since childhood. Having been in a multitude of original and cover bands over the past 15 years, Rob has played venues and events up and down the East coast of Australia. As a master of many genres, on his electric and acoustic kits, he has the most experience with rock, pop, alternative, funk, blues, folk and fusion styles. Rob’s musical influences are broad, and range from the flamboyant Carter Beauford (Dave Matthews Band), to the masterful Stewart Copeland (The Police), to the crazy Nicko McBrain (Iron Maiden).
