Welcome to 2023!
2022 started off slowly for The Iconics, we were all still feeling the major effects from COVID and venues and crowds were apprehensive.
However, from midway through the year, things started to return to normal and The Iconics were very busy, from our amazing highlight playing on Stage88 for Floriade, several weddings, corporate and special events, and topping off the year at the Clubhouse Kaleen in late December.
2023 will be even more amazing for the team. Yes, we are a wedding band, a corporate band, and a special events band, and the first half of the year will see us play a number of weddings, some smaller versions of the team also in clubs around town, but we will be embarking on at least one new project: "The Iconics: The Commitments Tribute Show".
We will be recording promotional audio at Infidel Studios in April, and then working on promotional video to support not only our regular and authentic covers show as a wedding band, a corporate band, and a special events band, but as the best and most authentic tribute band to The Commitments in Australia.
